At the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northern Indiana Corridor (BGCNIC), our Emotional Well-being & Inclusion (EWBI) team supports the mental and emotional health of youth across St. Joseph County. We’re looking for passionate student interns who want to make a difference while gaining real-world experience.
Clinical Internship (MSW)
For: MSW & Counseling Graduate Students
Location: In-person at club sites & admin office, with some remote flexibility
What You’ll Do:

Provide individual and group counseling

Participate in prevention & mental health interventions

Receive regular clinical supervision and support

Customize your internship experience to match your career goals

BSW Internship

For: Undergraduate Social Work Students
Location: In-person at club sites & admin office -
What You’ll Do:

Assist with case management, service coordination, and crisis response
-
Support parents and guardians through resource navigation

Engage in community outreach, program research, and more

Work 12–16 hours/week (Availability from 2-6 PM required)

Predoctoral Clinical Practicum

For: Doctoral Students in Clinical and Counseling Psychology Ph.D. or PsyD Programs
Location: In-person at club sites & admin office, with some remote flexibility -
What You’ll Do:

Provide individual and group counseling

Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments

Provide staff consultations for behavior support at club sites.

Receive regular clinical supervision and support

Customize your practicum experience to match your career goals

What You’ll Need:

Enrollment in an APA accredited Ph.D. or PsyD program studying Clinical or Counseling Psychology
