EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING

We are proud to offer an in-house Emotional Well-Being Program led by a clinical psychologist, with an emphasis on prevention and early assessment. We know that failing to assess early leaves youth at risk of more serious and severe mental and behavioral health problems, as well as social and academic problems. The program includes preventative education, evaluations, crisis care, counseling, and training for staff and families on intervention strategies. This innovative program places an emphasis on preventative mental healthcare for our 245 staff and more than 2,000 youth served annually.

Goals of the EWB Program

  • Identify early signs of distress & intervene immediately

  • Strengthen the Club's social, behavioral, and emotional programs

  • Reduce the chance of Club kids or teens developing a mental health disorder

  • Provide Club staff and families with best practices and tools to intervene and support youth
