Team BGC showed up for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Conference in Atlanta!

Celebrating Youth Development at the BGCA National Gathering

A shoutout to our Director of Emotional Well-Being, Erica Kelsey, Ph.D. and our COO, Duane Wilson for their presentation around Trauma-Informed Practices and Continuous Quality Improvement. As well as our CEO, Jacqueline Kronk for serving on a panel re: Growth Strategy and Sustainability, Board Member Jeremy Lugbill for presenting on how to engage Board Members in Advocacy, and our Director of Mission Integration, Lety Stanton-Verduzco for participating in a pre-conference forum regarding teen engagement.

Our critical priorities here in Indiana are the same ones we are hearing from Clubs across the country: we need to provide academic recovery and enrichment opportunities, we need to address the mental health crisis, and we need to recruit and engage teens to set them up for success.

We feel grateful to have a team that is working hard day in and day out with our Club kids to tackle all of these, and a community that continues to support our mission.
