Summer 2023 was our best summer yet!

Giving a farewell to summer with the End of Summer Bash.

This summer we served over 1,618 Club kids across 10 summer sites. Thanks to the collaboration with schools from 5 districts, we curbed the summer slide through academic enrichment and engaging programming in literacy, STEM, the arts, music, sports, and so much more. We ended our summer program with an End of Summer Bash at Potawatomi Park. Families and staff gathered and celebrated their summer accomplishments by engaging in rock climbing, self care and art activities, and even dunking friends at the dunk tank. To top it off we hosted an array of food trucks and vendors including snow cones to cool off.
We had an unforgettable End of Summer Bash at Potawatomi Park! Thank you to everyone who joined us for a day filled with laughter, fun, and endless memories as we bid farewell to the summer season in style! A big thank you to our food vendors Bishop and Bae, Denas Kitchen and Puerto Vallarta for their support that delighted everyone’s taste buds with delicious treats! Shoutout to Gibson for sponsoring the bounce house, rock wall, and dunk tank during our event! Another shoutout to our St, Joseph County Department of Health: Community Health Workers, and Desi’s Essentials: Reflections Beauty Bar for tabling and engaging with our families. None of this would’ve been possible without the great support of our Planet Fitness, Home Depot, and Flagstar Bank volunteers who ensured our evening went smoothly. The End of Summer Bash was a huge success and together we were able to give our families a night to remember.
