In loving memory of Ernestine Raclin

Her extraordinary impact will be felt for years to come.

The Club, like so many other organizations, was profoundly impacted by Mrs. Raclin's drive, benevolence, servant leadership, and dedication to making our community a better place for all. In the mid-90s, she led the charge for a widely successful capital campaign that resulted in the establishment of our flagship Boys & Girls Club site at the corner of Sample and Fellows in South Bend.

Named for her husband, the OC Carmichael Jr. Youth Center has seen thousands of Club kids, families, and staff through its doors, and serves as the foundation for our organization as we've continued to grow and expand our reach. On Thursday, we will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the recent renovations to this building and the continued impact on our local youth, more than 25 years later.

We are so grateful for the investment and dedication from the entire family, as Mrs. Raclin's children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren continue her legacy of supporting our mission, one that we believe is more critical than ever.
